Fumihiro included birds in many of his paintings because he is envious of their ability to fly. Twenty-one of Fumihiro’s bird paintings are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Fumihiro uses a modern, semi-abstract drawing style so the birds’ shapes and colors rarely match those found in the real world. This drawing style was strongly influenced by the Spanish painter Joan Miro.
